That time I built a plasma thruster

I've been working on a NASA proposal that hopes to change the game for nano-satellite propulsion. Along with a team of the smartest people I know. We built a working Vacuum Arc Thruster and a demonstration drone to show how one might fly to and map the surface of a near earth asteroid using ion engines and a plenoptic camera. We won at Maker Faire! Popular mechanics names placed us #1 in their list of the "7 builds we love". Exciting stuff!
